Very often, during the summer period, our feet sweat and that increases the probability of developing fungal infections in the area surrounding the toes. 1. Yogurt

Yogurt is a great remedy for foot infections which develop in the area between the nails and the toes, because it contains live bacteria – acidophilus. The yogurt also contains “friendly” microorganisms which can destroy fungal infections. Also, besides soaking your feet in yogurt, you can simply rub it all over them and leave it to dry. Then, just wash it off with cold water.

2. Sodium bicarbonate

In cases when you have to wear closed shoes, you can destroy all the potential bacteria in them by making one refreshing combination of cold water and baking soda . You should apply the mixture regularly and allow it to air dry.

3. Hydrogen peroxide

If you soak your feet into a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water, unpleasant fungal infections can be killed and you can also prevent them from spreading. Namely, this is an ideal compound or tool for destroying bacteria and fungi. You just need to add around 100 milliliters of 3% pharmaceutical grade hydrogen peroxide in one liter of distilled water and soak your feet for about 20 minutes every morning.

4. Corn starch

Starch is actually a great ingredient in different kinds of pastes which prevent the appearance of unpleasant bacteria and fungi, since it is amazing in absorbing moisture. You should mix half a teaspoon of corn starch with a little bit of warm water. After that, set the oven to 220 degrees and keep the mixture in the oven until it darkens. Then, wash and dry your feet, and then rub the mixture onto them. Leave it like that for about 1 minute and at the end wash the mixture off by using warm water.
